National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, Selkirk First Nation recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors and their families, and recognize the lasting, intergenerational impacts of residential schools.

Our strength and healing are carried through our land, language, culture, Elders, families, and future generations. Today, we reflect, remember, and continue moving forward together.

Every Child Matters.
