Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC), this position is the supervisor for the Meals on Wheels and EVB Nutrition programs. The position plans menu schedules, orders supplies, prepares food for Eliza Van Bibber nutrition program and Meals on Wheels program. The position supervises staff and coordinates with the school. The position also prepares and manages a budget and maintains inventory control.

Education/Experience

• Supervisory experience.

• Experience planning nutritious menus.

• Experience cooking for large groups in a commercial setting.

• Experience working with budgets.

• Experience with inventory control.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Conditions of Employment

• RCMP Security Clearance/Vulnerable Sector Check.

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

• Food Safe certification.

• Basic First Aid/CPR.
