NAAW Various Positions

We have various positions open to support National Addictions Awareness Week, which is held November 16-20, 2026.

Coordinator

Coordinate logistics for the event, including setting up booths, scheduling and some admin and budget duties.

Requirements:

• Oath of Intoxicants

• Oath of Confidentiality

• Class 5 Driver License

Head Cook

Travel to shop for food. Supervise kitchen, including providing continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the duration of the event. Prepare menu, cook for the community. Ensure kitchen and area are clean.

Requirements:

• Food Safe
• First Aid
• Oath of Intoxicants
• Oath of Confidentiality
• Class 5 Driver License

Cook Helper

Assist head cook, including duties above. Help with shopping for food. Food preparation, kitchen and area cleanup.

Requirements:

• Food Safe
• First Aid
• Oath of Intoxicants
• Oath of Confidentiality
• Class 5 Driver License (asset)

Labourer

Set up and take down venue, ensure space is tidy, other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Oath of Intoxicants
• Oath of Confidentiality

Cleaner

Kitchen and area clean-up, prepare for next day, take out garbage.

Requirements:

• Oath of Intoxicants
• Oath of Confidentiality
