Selkirk First Nation General Election 2026
As per Section 27 of the Selkirk First Nation Election Act (2016), the Election Committee hereby calls an election for the following seats:
• One (1) Chief
• One (1) Elder Councillor
• One (1) Youth Councillor
• Two (2) Crow Councillors
• Two (2) Wolf Councillors
The Selkirk First Nation General Election will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the 2026 General Election must be filed with the Chief Returning Officer, Tanya Silverfox on:
Tuesday, February 10, 2026 @ 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
in the Main Hall of the Selkirk First Nation Administration Building
Nominations will not be accepted after 4:00 p.m. on February 10, 2026.
