Community Focus Groups – JUNE

You are invited to a Community Focus Group to discuss programs, services, and priorities for Selkirk First Nation Citizens. Let’s continue the discussion about what programs and services matter to you! All sessions will take place across three groups at the Link Building, and food will be provided. See details for your corresponding group below.
1. Parents/Families with children under 18 years of age – complete
The focus group for parents and families has come and gone, thank you to all who came out to participate and offer their valued feedback.
2. Elders – you are invited to a midmorning group and information session. Elder will have an opportunity to share ideas and needs for programs for SFN Elders in Pelly Crossing
Identify priorities for Elder care and support
What to expect:
- Wednesday June 11: 11 am – 2:00 pm
- Morning tea/coffee and snacks will be available
- Lunch will be served 12-1 pm
- Rides will be available for all who need one
- Door Prizes will be awarded throughout the event
- During breaks there will be time to play dice bingo!

There will be no honoraria offered, but we hope to see you all for some enjoyable time spent together discussing matters important to you, sharing a meal and good company.

3. Youth 18-26 years of age – Thursday June 12th
Join us Thursday June 12 10-2 pm for discussions about programs and services you would like to see in your community and how you can participate in the building of a new Youth Centre.
Details:
- Thursday June 12: 10 pm – 2:00 pm
- Continental breakfast snacks and tea/coffee will be available
- Lunch will be served 12-1 pm
- Door prizes will be awarded throughout the event – including Meta Quest 3S, Shoes mini Open Run sport headphones, and a JBL clip 5 bluetooth speaker
